We produce and supply the highest quality terpene oils such as Tobacco Squalene for the cosmetic and medical sectors. Our squalene plays an essential role in protecting the body from free radical oxidative damage. As a versatile personal care product which restores the skin’s suppleness, it is soft, silky and non greasy to the touch. Tobacco Squalene is the first of many cutting edge extracts and bio-actives we will launch to replace unsustainable sourcing.
From lab to farm
You want the purest plant ingredients in your products. Creating our plants is a time intensive labor of love where we work with the plant’s natural productive capabilities to find new high yield sources of pressurized ingredients. Our farmed oils are thoroughly purified to control their color, odour, oxidation and acidicity.
Join Our Journey
SynShark started with a rebellious idea: to reinvent how science can solve the problems of scarce resources. Working with leading technologists, the Company designed new plant pathways to channel photosynthesis energy towards terpene production, something native to the plant. With designs in hand, we planted two harvest trails to scale our plants as field ready bio manufacturers of ingredients without any post extraction conversion.
Conservation Saving the Oceans
SynShark only creates oils extracted from renewable plant sources rather than synthetic or animal sources. Multi functional emollient squalene is produced unsustainably from deep-water shark livers and olive oil pressing, which compromises quality and price. By using a plant with a long history of cultivation over hundreds of thousands of acres of farmable land, we displace the needless ‘livering’ of millions of ecologically important sea creatures.
Tradition Family Farming
SynShark’s farms are its outer-experimental edge of what the company does. Working with conscience growers who treat the field as a lab, we identified farming techniques to insure tobacco and other well known plants as bio manufacturers of our ingredients. We rely on family farmers and supportive rural communities who bring hundreds of years of experience in our plants to their pristine lands.
